Trip To Fenway

On Monday, July 19th, 2010, Greg and I took a trip into fenway park. Greg is a member of Red Sox Kids Nation, and all members get 2 tickets to a Fenway Game! The seats are kind of crappy, but it's always fun to be at a ball game in Fenway. Also, the kid nation tickets are only $20.00. That is a good deal.

I checked the weather, and was worried about rain later on in the day, we were leaving Spark St. at 10:30am. We decided to take a chance and took the motorcycle in. It is always exciting riding to Boston on 93. It's like being in a video game. We arrived in boston. I looked for a free space for the bike, but couldn't find one that i was sure the bike would be ok. We ended up at the parking lot right across from the ticket office at Fenway. the deal was, if you spent 2 hrs or more, it was $10.oo for the day. If you only parked for less than 2hrs, it was only $5.oo.

At the ticket office, we got tickets for Monday, August 3rd, 2010, Cleveland Indians vs. the Boston Red Sox. We then walked around fenway, looking at all the shops and checking out the tourists. We talked to a couple from Quebec. Guess what was right there? BOSTON BEER WORKS! so we went in and had some lunch. Greg had Root Beer and i had WaterMelon Beer! can you believe they would brew such a beer? Well, the DO!

We made it back to the parking lot in 1hr. 57 minutes, so we only had to pay $5.00! what a deal! on the way home, we used the $5.00 savings to buy a scratch ticket, and it won $40.00.

The other lucky thing was, thunderstorms had moved thru the area, when we arrived home, we realized we had rode all around the storms, we didn't get wet once.

THAT IS A GREAT FATHER/SON SUMMER DAY!!!!!!
